"At Neiman Marcus Group, we define belonging as diversity equity inclusion = belonging. Belonging is the outcome we focus on because none of those other things matter unless they result in a person feeling like they belong," Eric shared. "Teaching belonging is about using evidence-based techniques for communicating with others, listening, and resolving conflict. It’s about teaching people how to interact with those who have different beliefs, listen, negotiate, and reach agreements on how to work together effectively."
