India and South Asia are Strategic Priorities for Glanbia with an ambition towards 4X growth and rapid scale up, both structurally and with system capability. The incumbent must be able to effectively lead in such an entrepreneurial environment of scale-up and pace of change.

This role will work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop key initiatives and drive goals dealing with promotional management, advertising, branding, event and athlete management.  Responsible for the coordination of marketing programs planned for the Glanbia Performance Nutrition brands, Isopure and BSN, in India ensuring smooth and successful execution.

This permanent position will report to the Marketing Manager.

  • Support the ongoing management of the ISOPURE & BSN Social Platforms such as META platforms, You-Tube etc. - Work closely with the digital agency to coordinate athlete contributions/interviews/photo & video shoots etc.
  • Supporting digital front visibility hygiene of the products & brands for improved performances for sponsored & organic searches e.g. Amazon, Google searches etc.
  • Working with BTL, PR, event management agencies to ensure timely execution of projects
  • Support the development of advertising material across multiple platforms in line with brand objectives and HQ guidelines
  • Lead in planning and managing the sponsored teams and athletes, e.g., handling athlete monthly product allocations, printing athlete gears, coordinating athlete duties in events, sampling & demonstrations as well as liaising with US on approvals.
  • Work with sales and key customers to develop POS solutions and all sampling material requirements
  • Leading the demos/sampling as required including occasional Saturdays
  • Assistance in all aspects of planning for large scale Fitness shows where our brands have a presence.
  • Assistance in planning, execution and tracking of new product launches
  • Working with third party providers on gift with purchase procurement, POS and other collateral

The Skills you will bring to the team

  • Ability to work up timelines for projects and ensuring on time delivery
  • Ability to systematically coordinate projects with good sense of priority setting.
  • Is persistent and resilient in the pursuit of objectives, willing to take on new challenges and works to resolve issues
  • Results oriented with high level of initiative.
  • Ability to analyse market trends, internal sales data and work within budget guidelines
  • Good cross functional team building skills.
  • Good understanding of how to work within brand guidelines
  • Highly adept with Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter)
  • MBA from a Tier I or Tier II B school
  • Ideally, 2 years brand management experience in FMCG/retail/consumer focused industries OR experience in working at a creative agency in an account management role
  • Brand positioning & segmentation,
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
  • Experience managing external agencies
  • Experience in customer/consumer insights
