**An Unforgettable Journey: Lessons from a Global Tech Outage** Yesterday, I experienced something truly unique while traveling from Bangalore to Delhi. Due to a major global tech outage caused by a Microsoft system glitch, my flight was first delayed and then cancelled. The airline staff were helpless as they couldn't rebook us on any other flight due to the system outage, which affected check-in systems globally, impacting all major airports. Our bags were manually checked-in, but without barcoding, they became untraceable. For the first time in my life, I received a handwritten boarding pass! 📝✈️ It’s now a cherished keepsake, a unique memento from an unforgettable journey. While the situation was far from ideal, it offered some unexpected positives. I had the chance to make new connections and engage with fellow travelers in ways I wouldn't have otherwise. An additional day in the pleasant Bangalore weather, in the company of great newly met colleagues turned friends, was a silver lining.
