I am fully aligned with Keval Valambhia Sir's excellent articulation of the growth potential in India's tier-2 cities. A recent analysis by Cushman and Wakefield, in collaboration with the Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI), shows that about 35% of India's population currently lives in urban areas. This figure is projected to increase to 50% by 2050. Such rapid urbanisation is placing immense pressure on Tier-1 cities, where space is increasingly scarce. As a result, there is a growing emphasis on developing alternative urban areas poised to become new economic and real estate hubs—namely, #Tier-2 cities. #CREDAI predicts that by 2050, with the urbanisation rate expected to exceed 50%, there could be a significant migration towards these cities.
