Seeing a lot of complaints for Blinkit lately. I have uninstalled all quick delivery apps, because… (my personal opinion) 1. I hardly ordered 12 times in the last 3 months. Sometimes, when I was unwell or when there was some urgent need. So, they help when you are in dire need. And no one is always in dire need. 2. The quality of items shown on the apps vs the quality of items delivered - there is always a huge difference. Especially, for vegetables, I don’t prefer them. 3. They usually have no return policy, so not suitable for high value items or electronics. 4. The cost is higher because of convenience. Now convenience also comes at the cost of your laziness and in the end, a lazy person most likely is not health conscious. And that’s not really good especially when our lifestyle is sedentary largely in nature. 5. We are social animals. So, walking to the nearest super market or street vendors does not do any harm, instead, you get at least a walk and get to see and talk to some person. Moral of the story - 10 minute delivery is more of a luxury and not a necessity. It’s wise not to make it a part of our lifestyle.
