Clear communication helps set expectations and reduces anxiety. 3.Pre-Upgrade Testing: Conduct thorough testing in a staging environment that mirrors your production system. This helps identify and resolve issues before they affect users. 4. Incremental Upgrades: If possible, perform the upgrade in phases rather than a single, large upgrade. This reduces risk and allows you to address issues in manageable parts. 5. Backup and Recovery Plan: Ensure you have a complete backup of the system before starting the upgrade.
