On dated 24th Sep 2024, 84 participants joined for an engaging hybrid training session focused on Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective action Preventive action (CAPA). In Class room mode, participants joined at MACE, Manesar and 74 participants joined in online mode from Tier1 and tier 2 supplier partners of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. This critical methodology is designed to identify the underlying causes of problems, enabling us to implement effective solutions and prevent recurrence. Key Objectives The session aimed to: Understand the RCA Process: Participants learned the step-by-step approach to conducting an RCA, including data collection, cause identification, and solution development. Enhance Problem-Solving Skills: Through interactive activities, attendees practiced analytical techniques, fostering a deeper understanding of how to approach complex issues. Apply Tools and Techniques: We explored various RCA tools such as the 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and Pareto Analysis, allowing participants to apply these methods to real-life scenarios. Highlights Interactive Exercises: Teams engaged in hands-on activities, encouraging collaboration and creative problem-solving. Case Studies: Real-world examples were analyzed, showcasing the practical application of RCA in different industries. Q&A Session: Participants had the opportunity to discuss challenges they face in their roles and how RCA can provide solutions. The training session was a valuable opportunity for Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier partner’s team to enhance their analytical skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement. By mastering Root Cause Analysis, we can better identify issues and implement lasting solutions, ultimately driving efficiency and effectiveness in our operations. Priced at ₹2.39 lakh, this sleek, futuristic machine is set to hit the roads by January 2025. As Raptee.HV charts an ambitious course, it seeks to raise $20 million to expand its horizons and scale up operations, all while the T30 promises an IDC-estimated range of 200 km and a real-world range of over 150 km on a single charge. Draft “Guidelines for Installation and Operation of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure-2024” The Ministry of Power Government of India has prepared a draft of revised guidelines (attached below) for Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure for EVs, in consultation with the Central Electricity Authority (Cea), Bureau of Energy Efficiency (ऊर्जा दक्षता ब्यूरो), seeking comments and suggestions from stakeholders. 📄 The initial guidelines and standards for electric vehicle charging infrastructure were issued by the Ministry of Power on December 14, 2018, and have since been revised five times to address evolving requirements in the EV charging domain. The most recent revision, on April 27, 2023, included a ceiling limit on the service fee charged by Charge Point Operators (CPOs) to electric vehicle users at Public Charging Stations. 🔋 In light of the progress made and feedback received from various stakeholders, including Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) and other public and private charge point operators, ministry have decided to issue revised and consolidated guidelines to further accelerate the transition to E-Mobility in the country. 🚓 Please forward your comments and suggestions on the draft to the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (ऊर्जा दक्षता ब्यूरो) at [email protected] and [email protected] by July 31, 2024. 💡 Let’s contribute to creating a sustainable ecosystem in e-mobility. Thanks to Priyakshi Gupta from EVreporter.com for giving me the opportunity to share my views on recently announced consolidated guidelines on charging infra issued by Ministry of Power. Bureau of Energy Efficiency (ऊर्जा दक्षता ब्यूरो) My view is while guidelines is directionally positive, there are operational challenges to implement this guidelines. Recommending to have 150KW as LT threshold across country is very favourable for developing public charging infrastructure. We hope this will be implemented. I and Indian Charge Point Operators Association are not in favour of capping service fee to end user as this has potential to adversely impact the consumer experience. However, implementing in the suggested form would also be challenging… How fixed demand charges and land lease would be passed through as this would vary as per utilization of chargers, is not clear… Tune into my conversation with Priyakshi Gupta Glida India
