A great player in the Gamified Marketing is Google. Take for example Google Maps, Google Pay, Crowdsource etc. Engaging people to work along and contribute to the platform is difficult and Google aced it with the gamification. They provide badges, raking, Leaderboard system to engage people. Google Maps and Crowdsource have lots of contributors with multiple levels or ranks People always like to win and achieve and gamification helps them feel achieved. This works well in Marketing for user engagement.

IMO this is the most important of all. Measure! Unless we measure we wouldn't know where to scale and how to scale. A blanket approach to increase budget on all channels to scale is the worst approach one can take. Which channel is working well, which markets works well, which buyer persona works and many more such data will help scale. That come only when we measure and analyse.

Creative thinking! I wanted to just leave with the above but LinkedIn wants me to add more. So this is a filler text. Why? Take all the points discussed here and try to implement without creative thinking all of it will fail. It's relevant to all jobs but marketing does not work without it. End if filler content.

Do one thing at every stage, offer VALUE & build TRUST! Search advertising puts your product/brand in front of your prospect. But what converts at each stage is the value you offer and the trust you build. This is common to products and services, B2B and B2C. Remember they are not there to buy your product but the VALUE it offers.

Marketing Strategy is a process of evolution that happens everyday though we may not make major changes at the strategy level all the time, we have to make tweaks every now and then. At a high level I would recommend re-looking at strategy when: 1. Major tech evolution/trend: tiktok changed the way marketing is done. It became 30 secs from long form stories. Now ChatGPT is a major tech development. I will change, adopt and evolve during such major events. 2. Attrition in funnel: I'd look at the attrition in engagement at each stage of the funnel and if it's not convincing I will relook. 3. Internal Reasons: my product, industry or services may go through a process of evolution. I wouldn't keep the marketing same. I'd relook.
