So, I personally know a few whose real estate work has been flourishing since years solely via client referrals till dates even in today’s times when corporates and brokers use social media or purchase leads. They have been Nurturing #Relationships for Long-Term Value which in today’s terms we term as practicing the metric of CLV. A google interpretation of a #CLV as a #KPI is “Customer Lifetime Value” being a metric that measures the total revenue a customer generates over their lifetime. By focusing on CLV, we're not just looking at a single transaction but the long-term potential of each customer relationship via their referrals. In today's competitive market, acquiring new customers is essential. However, often overlooked is the untapped potential of existing customer base which many IGNORE, often DEMEAN & DISREGARD as they are “already buyers” and stuck to us via a part payment or full. By nurturing these relationships and focusing on CLV, we can significantly boost our business's bottom line as these existing customers are the backbone of a developer or a broker businesses, providing consistent revenue and acting as brand ambassadors. The true gold lies in cultivating strong relationships with existing clients giving them memorable customer experience and encourage satisfied customers to spread the word about your brand and help us acquire new customers more efficiently through referrals and word-of-mouth. Lack of people and business results is often driven by siloed operations within teams. 𝙏𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮, 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙄 𝙬𝙤𝙠𝙚 𝙪𝙥, 𝙄 𝙛𝙚𝙡𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙤𝙣 𝙢𝙚.. Leaving the comfort of my bed seemed like the hardest task. For 20 minutes, I struggled, tangled myself in a thread of complaints about the mundane routine that awaited me like Why i cant sleep 1 hr More ? Why i can't skip my duties today, etc . But then, a memory knocked on the door of my mind. I remembered the days when I was in a search for a toxicity-free workplace, a place where I could dedicate my 8 hours with peace and compassion. Back then, I yearned for such an environment and was willing to do as much handwork as i need to get that amazing workplace. Fast forward to today, I found myself in that very environment, yet struggling to get out of bed??? What the silliest Problem i am complaining for ? What you stand for, is how you stand out!   Jyoti Prakash Mallick from my team often asks these questions at work – What do you stand for? How do you stand out? I have been too, and he has various ways of exploring this with us, multiple times in the year 😊. The post today is about my reflections on these questions and thus the importance of building a strong value system, as a young professional. Unfortunately, we live in a world of cheat-codes for quick success. I see a lot of young, smart talent worrying about seeking and feeding themselves on levers like recognition, brand building and visibility at younger age. It is rare to find someone who is seeking real critique on their work with a mindset to develop. It is rare to find young leaders care about developing their teams over worrying to make themselves look good. We all know what is takes to build physical strength by strengthening our core – the more you work on it, the more it strengthens. Pertinent it is, that the true test of this strength becomes evident in mid-age and is crucial for maintaining stability and health as you age.  It is actually the same at work too! Developing functional depth through high quality work rooted in long-term and strong value-based professional behaviors, is the preparation that will distinguish you and provide the resilience needed at higher levels of responsibility.  It starts from you :) Just answer the first question and you reach the second automatically! The reverse, is unfortunately not true and potentially harmful ☺️. So, what do you stand for? P.S. We are striving to build the GPL HR team on these principles. It is a long journey, but I am grateful to my team who brings in the intent, candor and courage to keep at it; everyday!
