Volt VC, an Ahmedabad-based micro venture capital firm founded by Param Patel, has introduced its inaugural fund, Volt VC Fund-1, aiming to raise Rs 45 crore. The fund plans to invest in 20-25 pre-seed consumer-centric startups across D2C, B2C, and B2B2C models, with investment sizes ranging from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 2 crore. Patel, who previously led investments at Gujarat Venture Finance Limited (GVFL Limited), anticipates strong interest from Gujarat-based startups.
