How can career path planning improve employee retention?
I would love to be part of an organization that is deliberate about my career path planning and it gives me a sense of growth. I am sure this is the case with many of us. Hence investing on career growth of employees is a great way to engage them with the organization.

How can you effectively give negative feedback to an employee during a performance review?
In my personal opinion, going with the facts and data is a good strategy. Moreover, I would personally not suggest the sandwich style of feedback. I mean giving positive feedback before and after the negative feedback. This degrades the impact of the feedback.

How can you develop a performance management system that promotes continuous learning?
Having a data driven tool based PMS will give you better results than a manual one. With the tools that are available for PMS, you can easily implement feedback based PMS and also give an opportunity to people to have feedback from colleagues, juniors and superiors

One of my principles when recognizing the top performers in the team is to make sure we have an objective-driven recognition else we might dis-appointment or dis-engage many to please few. That is why remove as much as subjectively from your selection process

Amrita Devi Foundation is in existence with an aim to build self sustained Uttarakhand by focusing on the SKILL DEVELOPMENT of WOMEN and providing them EMPLOYMENT opportunity through our wing called Amrita Devi Women's Skill Development Institute.
We believe that when we teach a woman, we educate a whole family and bring growth.
Amrita Devi Women’s Skill Development Institute has been established for this purpose. In a short span of time, we have been able to start THREE such institutes in remote rural areas of District Almora, where women from rural areas are being trained in employment oriented related courses such as Computer Operator, Digital Marketing, Tailoring and Beauty Therapists to make them self-reliant. This way they will be able to stay in their own village and at the same time, meet the financial needs of their family.
