Representative of INDIA at University Rover Challenge
The Mars Society, UTAH, USA
I was selected for “University Rover Challenge” held at Mars Desert Research Station Hanksville, Utah, U.S.A. Being a team member I analyzed an 8 wheeled Rover designed by NASA in 1972, removed some drawbacks and designed a new chassis of 8 wheels. We also made a “Mars Rover” that is designed to work on the challenging surface of Mars and would collect pictures, real time videos and samples from the surface. Our design is well appreciated and we got invitation for “European Rover Challenge”…

Under supervision of Senior Scientist Dr. Vishal Veer Singh I’ve worked upon ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicles), developed a module for speed and direction control of unmanned Army vehicle using Embedded C by Serial Communication. Optimized acceleration and deacceleration for jerk free functioning by experimenting with current and velocity. Analysed functioning for generated data and implemented the same project with wireless technology and ARM Processor. I’ve also studied defence project “DAKSHA” an unmanned bomb diffuser, Studied its functionalities and technologies and prepared a detailed research report.
