Youth4Jobs, in collaboration with Optum, CorpOne BPO, and Sundarlysh care with style: Care with Style, organized a gamified "Demystifying Disabilities - A disability sensitization workshop" at the Youth4jobs Hyderabad Centre. The workshop aimed to educate HR professionals and new Youth4Jobs employees about various disabilities, fostering inclusivity and respectful interactions. The revamped session engaged participants in dynamic activities facilitating personal interactions and shared experiences. Participants expressed surprise at discovering the breadth of disabilities recognized—far more than the few they had previously known. This newfound knowledge promised to broaden their perspectives on inclusion significantly. On Saturday, June 22nd, Youth4Jobs Delhi held a successful job fair in collaboration with BPCL at their Bijwasan, Delhi location. This event, called "Silent Voices," aimed to connect talented young people with disabilities (PwDs) with employment opportunities at BPCL pumps. The event was a resounding success! All 40 participating PwD youths were shortlisted within Delhi RO and will soon begin working at BPCL pumps. In a heartwarming display of inclusion, the event kicked off with a unique performance of the national anthem in sign language. Dealers, BPCL staff, and Youth4Jobs representatives all participated, creating a powerful moment of unity and celebration. The BPCL staff were particularly impressed by the event and warmly welcomed the new recruits to their pumps. Youth4Jobs extends its gratitude to BPCL for their partnership in making this impactful initiative a reality.
