🚀 YO.DH Fest: 'Innovation to Implementation: Advancing Healthcare through Digital Health' 🌏We recently celebrated a vibrant gathering of nearly 200 digital health enthusiasts at the YO.DH Fest! 🏥The event united digital health professionals, representing various sectors and organizations, all driven by a passion for innovation and collaboration. Highlights: 🎤 Opening Address: Pallavi Jain, Program Lead, emphasized the potential of the YO.DH community, focusing on #connect, #create, and #collaborate. 💡 Engaging Activities: Varun Kapoor and team from Humans Without Walls energized participants with immersive activities. 🔎 Expert Insights: Sessions by industry stalwarts on topics like ‘Redefining Primary Health Care in Rural India’, ‘Responsible Use of AI in Healthcare’, and more. 🛠️ Skill-Building Workshops: Topics included ‘Building Effective Strategies to Achieve Health Equity’, ‘Design Thinking & Elevator Pitches’, and ‘Automation Proof Skills for Digital Health Professionals’. 💬 Lightning Talks: Insights on digital health evolution, integrating gender in leadership, and clinical decision support systems. YO.DH Fest ‘Innovation to Implementation: Advancing Healthcare through Digital Health’ brought together nearly 200 digital health enthusiasts nationwide. Attendees included digital health professionals, policymakers, researchers, public health consultants, doctors, & representatives from both public & pvt. sectors, NGOs, CSOs & international agencies,all united to share ideas & celebrate collaboration. The Fest commenced with an opening address from Pallavi Jain, Lead for YO.DH wherein she emphasized the tremendous potential existing amongst the community members with each member wanting to #connect #create & #collaborate. The YO.DH mascot,’YO.DHA’, a digital ninja embodying this spirit was launched along with the Mobile Application. Humans Without Walls led engaging activities to unlock participants' potential. Anaita S. & Dr Akash Malik, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation set the stage by discussing digital health's past, present & future, while Dr. Monika Puri from Roche emphasized gender integration & early leadership development. While the entire group engaged in exciting activities such as the ‘Run YO.DHA Run’ game, AI Photo booth, wheel of fortune, dart game & a musical mindfulness session, the cohort had the opportunity to attend various sessions & workshops. Stalwarts such as Kiran Anandampillai, Kanika Kalra, Varun Jhaveri, Nirmala Nair, Dr. Dimple Bhargava (PT) & Ayesha Bashir engaged the YO.DHAs in sessions on ‘Redefining Primary Health Care in Rural India’, ‘Responsible Use of AI in Healthcare’, ‘Commercializing Digital Health Solutions’ & ‘Understanding the Digital Health Scenario in India’. The workshops were designed such that participants had the opportunity to pick from a full spectrum ranging from technical skill sets such as ‘Building Effective Strategies to Achieve Health Equity’ by Anuradha Jain, problem-solving approaches of ‘Design Thinking & Elevator Pitches’ by Dr Sabine Kapasi & Neiharika Rajiv,leadership workshop on ‘How to Become an Effective Leader’ by Shwetank Mishra to creative ‘Automation Proof Skills’ by Samyak Chakrabarty. The day came to a wrap with Lightning Talks from Dr. Nikhil Tandon who enlightened us on ‘Clinical Decision Support System & Quality of Care’ while Avantika Dhingra & Dr. Aparna Sharma led by example by initiating the discussion on ‘Women’s Leadership in Public Health’. With young digital health professionals gracing the Fest,Nandita Krishan & Karan Trivedi, Arthan Foundation sparked the conversation on ‘Attracting & Retaining the Right Talent in Digital Health’. They summated by describing the Digital Health sector as one that is converging talents, skill sets & diverse ecosystems leading it as an emerging pathway with a shining future. In closing, all YO.DHAs shared their ‘AHA’ moments & exchanged postcards with special memories shared through the day.
