Discover the captivating world of 'Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow' by Gabrielle Zevin, a novel that masterfully intertwines the themes of friendship, creativity, and entrepreneurship in the gaming industry. Through the compelling journey of Sadie Green, Zevin sheds light on the often-invisible barriers faced by women in male-dominated fields. This week's pick resonates deeply with our mission of Women's Economic Empowerment (WEE), highlighting crucial issues such as access to capital, networking disparities, work-life balance challenges, and pervasive gender bias. Sadie's experiences offer a poignant reflection of the real-world struggles many women entrepreneurs face, from securing funding to overcoming stereotypes and finding mentorship. At WEE, we're consistently working towards addressing and bridging these gaps, ironing out the hurdles that arise, as women pursue their career ambitions. Join us in exploring this thought-provoking narrative that not only entertains but also ignites important conversations about representation, visibility, and the path to a more inclusive future in entrepreneurship and beyond. #WEEReads #Pickoftheweek #EmpowermentReads #gamingnovels #gamingreads #Inspiring #Socialprejudice #Bookrecommendation #FeministReads #womenempowerment #booklovers #Reading #readersoflinkedin #WomenEmpowermentPrograms #Entrepreneurship Amazon Saath Charitable Trust Bizup Aspire For Her Dhriiti - The Courage Within YouthNet HerKey Airblack Frontier Markets GAME - Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship Ravi Venkatesan Madan Padaki Mekin Maheshwari Poulomi Pal Ketul Acharya Vanya Kaushik Rashika Chaurasia Poornima Menon Samikhsya Nanda Inisa Guha

At a recent visit to Varanasi along with our partners Saath Charitable Trust, we had the opportunity to meet some inspiring women, one of them being a young second year graduation student. Shehnaaz's (name changed) story mirrors that of many young budding entrepreneur breaking stereotypes about women in smaller towns and cities being inept at managing technology. Instead, her story showcases the world of opportunities and possibilities that open up with access to digital knowledge. This second-year college student is balancing her studies with running a family convenience store. Thanks to her digital skills, she has transformed their business, making operations seamless and boosting sales. Beyond this, she empowers her mother with digital training, fostering independence and bridging gender gaps in their community. Her journey is a testament to the impact of digital empowerment and the importance of programs like Women Economic Empowerment (WEE) in supporting women entrepreneurs. Through WEE, we aim to bridge gender gaps in the digital platform economy, enabling more women to thrive and achieve their dreams. #DigitalEmpowerment #WomenEntrepreneurs #WEEProgram #GenderEquality #BreakingStereotypes #IndiaEducation #Digital #DigitalUpskilling #RuralIndia #WomenEmpowerment #Entrepreneurship #WomenInBusiness #EmpowerWomen #EconomicEmpowerment #EmpoweringCommunities #JobsForHer #DigitalPlatformEconomy #DigitalIndia #GoDigital #WomenInDigital #WomenSupportWomen Kruti Javeri Meera zala Chinmayi Desai Aspire For Her Dhriiti - The Courage Within YouthNet HerKey Airblack Frontier Markets GAME - Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship Madan Padaki Mekin Maheshwari Ravi Venkatesan Poulomi Pal Ketul Acharya Samikhsya Nanda Vanya Kaushik Poornima Menon Inisa Guha Rashika Chaurasia

Sudha Murty's 'Mahashweta' is one of her most celebrated works and aligns beautifully with our WEE Program's mission. The protagonist Anupama's journey mirrors the experiences of the many women we support from rural to urban areas alike. Her transformation from a victim of societal prejudices (as she’s detected with leukoderma, a skin condition) to a self-reliant, confident individual embodies the core of our mission - empowering women to overcome barriers and achieve their dreams. Anupama's return to literature and theatre parallels our encouragement for women to turn their passions into viable businesses. WEE connects countless such budding entrepreneurs with the right resources, peer groups and capacity building support to bring them closer to their goals. We hope you find this recommendation an inspiring read! #SudhaMurty #sudhamurtystories #bibliophile #Mahashwetabysudhamurthy #WEEReads #Pickoftheweek #Literature #EmpowermentReads #Inspiration #Socialprejudice #Bookrecommendation #FeministReads #womenempowerment #Indianliterature #booklovers #Reading #readersoflinkedin #WomenEmpowermentPrograms #Entrepreneurship Amazon Saath Charitable Trust Bizup HerKey Aspire For Her YouthNet Dhriiti - The Courage Within Airblack Frontier Markets GAME - Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship Ravi Venkatesan Madan Padaki Mekin Maheshwari Poulomi Pal Ketul Acharya Vanya Kaushik Inisa Guha Samikhsya Nanda Rashika Chaurasia Poornima Menon

During his recent TEDX talk, our Co-Founder and Founder of Udhyam Learning Foundation, Mekin Maheshwari provided his insights on the theme: Innovation in Education - for an Entrepreneurial India. At GAME and our Women Economic Empowerment program, we're trying to put these insights into action. We're not only fostering resilience and innovation but also actively educating and bridging the gender digital divide as a crucial first step. By embracing this entrepreneurial spirit and providing digital enablement, we're contributing to GAME's mission of creating new jobs, with women owning 25% of the businesses. Our approach aligns with the innovation in education needed for an entrepreneurial India, empowering women to challenge societal norms, experiment boldly, and drive economic growth across the nation. #MondayMoodAtWEE #entrepreneurship #TedX #entreprenurialindia #WEE4Women #WEEGoingDigital #WEE4Change #WomenGigEconomy #WeeTheWomen #GenderInEquality #EconomicEmpowerment #RuralEntrepreneurship #RuralEcommerce #SocialCommerce #JobTech #WomenInJobTech #WomenEconomicEmpowerment GAME - Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship Ravi Venkatesan Madan Padaki Poulomi Pal Ketul Acharya Vanya Kaushik Samikhsya Nanda Rashika Chaurasia Poornima Menon Inisa Guha
