Adding another feather to its cap; Voltas Commercial Air-Conditioning Division has successfully supplied and commissioned 5 units of 120 TR high efficiency VFD Air-Cooled Screw Chillers at the Academic building of Indian Institute of Technology - Madras (IIT-M).   This project holds a very special place for us. We had accepted the challenge to deliver a customized product offering wherein the specifications for stringent noise level had to be maintained at 70 dB at 1m, since the location of installation was close to an academic building and a residential block.   Voltas was the only chiller manufacturer who accepted this challenge and successfully tested for 70db at 1m by installing special Acoustic Enclosure for not only compressor and surrounding but also for fans without compromising capacity deration and air free flow.   The team from IIT-M visited our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Waghodia to test the product prototype and awarded us the contract after due diligence.   #Voltas #CommercialAirConditioning #HVAC #Chillers

Adding another feather to its cap; Voltas Commercial Air-Conditioning Division has successfully supplied and commissioned AHRI Certified high-efficiency water-cooled VFD screw chillers of 360 TR and air- cooled scroll chillers of 48 TR capacities at various stations of Kanpur Metro Project. Total 16 chillers have been commissioned at Nayaganj, Badachauraha, Naveen Market and Chunniganj Metro Stations of the Kanpur Metro Project. All the chillers were manufactured and tested at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Waghodia, Gujarat before the supply and commissioning. #Voltas #CommercialAirConditioning #HVAC #Chillers
