We recently distributed bicycles to our staff members as a small gesture of appreciation for the hard work they put in every day. Many of them spend a lot of time commuting, and we hoped this would help them reduce that travel time and allow for more moments with their families. It was wonderful to see their joy, and it’s a reminder of how small changes can make a difference in people’s lives. A big thank you to everyone involved. We recently planted 1,000 native, fruit-bearing trees across Divar and Golti Navelim in collaboration with local vendors and the Golti Navelim Panchayat. These trees—cashews, jackfruit, betel nut, and coconut—will be lovingly cared for over the next year to help them thrive, supporting biodiversity and local livelihoods. We also gifted raincoats to the school children who joined us in planting the saplings, making sure they stayed dry while contributing to this green initiative.
