The biggest problem with the Indian drone industry is the non-integration of indigenous drone component manufacturers. Today, there are almost 100 drone manufacturing startups in India, and the majority of these startups are still using Chinese components. In fact, some companies are just assembling completely knocked-down units imported from abroad or rebadging fully manufactured products. Agricultural drones hold the majority stake in these assembled drones.
