"Escape the Office, Embrace the Ocean!" That is what our team did. From August 23rd to 25th, our team swapped the office for the beaches of Goa, and what an incredible offsite it was! Two days of sun, sand, and synergy, where we combined business with pleasure.  Our mornings were filled with dynamic strategy sessions and creative brainstorming, while the afternoons allowed us to unwind by the sea, soaking in the beauty of Goa. This trip was more than just a getaway—it was an opportunity to strengthen our bonds, spark new ideas, and return with fresh perspectives. India stands 4th globally in Renewable Energy Installed Capacity (including Large Hydro), 4th in Wind Power capacity & 5th in Solar Power capacity (as per REN21 Renewables 2024 Global Status Report). The country has set an enhanced target at the COP26 of 500 GW of non-fossil fuel-based energy by 2030. Owing to this, Our CEO & Senior Partner, Mr. Vikas Kumar, shares his views on Why governments should increase laws and incentives to promote the use of renewable energy resources: 1. Environmental Protection: Renewable energy sources like solar, wind, and hydropower produce little to no greenhouse gas emissions, which helps combat climate change and reduces air and water pollution. 2. Energy Security: Diversifying energy sources with renewables can reduce dependence on imported fuels, enhancing energy security and reducing vulnerability to global energy market fluctuations. 3. Economic Benefits: The renewable energy sector creates jobs in manufacturing, installation, and maintenance. It can also drive innovation and investment in new technologies. 4. Public Health: Reducing reliance on fossil fuels can lower emissions of harmful pollutants, leading to improved public health outcomes, such as lower rates of respiratory diseases. 5. Sustainability: Renewable energy sources are abundant and inexhaustible, unlike fossil fuels, which are finite. Increasing their use ensures a more sustainable and long-term energy supply.
