SwapSo, part of Microsoft for “startups founder hub” & incubated at WISE incubator is an initiative founded by IIT Bombay students. In SwapSo, we are bridging educational institutes on a single decentralized network for an open and transparent global education, accessible to everyone. To tackle low completion rates in online education we are starting our journey with SwapSo Edtech. Despite the growing popularity of online courses, there's a major issue that's hard to ignore - low completion rates of online courses only around 2 to 3%. We've developed an EdTech platform that not only boosts course completion rates but also makes learning more affordable and accessible. How? By allowing learners to buy course access for customized time intervals." And after completing a course, or if they decide it's not for them, users can resell the remaining validity of the course on our marketplace where other users can buy it. This incentivizes completion and offers a partial return on investment, changing how we approach online learning.
