#GoldenLegacy #SRF50 SRF diversified its portfolio and set up its first BOPP facility in South Africa. The South African facility boasts of state-of-the-art 5-layer, co-extrusion technology for efficient BOPP film manufacturing. The line can produce films in thickness ranging from 12 to 80 microns, which are suited for a wide range of applications. It is complemented by a 2.85 meter metallizer.

SRF’s eco-friendly digital annual report 🍃 A few years ago, we switched from a conventional annual report, printed in large quantities to a contemporary digital annual report. As time went by, we wondered if that was the best we could do to be environmentally responsible. Here’s what we learned… For a 10,000 visits per month ~120kg of CO2 is produced by a single web page in a month. That's equivalent to the same mass as 1 sumo wrestler or enough electricity to drive an electric car for 1,723 km. And that's only the statistic of 1 web page. In 1 month. Multiply that with ~2.4 million websites hosted in India. Alarming! So, what did we do differently this year? This year, we've reduced SRF’s Digital Annual Report CO2 emissions to just 0.8g per page load, totalling 8kg annually, reduction of 99.27% from last year. That's like reducing air conditioner use from 365 days to just 3 days or cutting gasoline usage from 490 litres to just 3.9 litres! Our sustainable web design earned us an A rating!
