Interaction with future engineers - where curiosity meets expertise! We are excited to have had the opportunity to interact with the next generation of engineers, to showcase how Solinas is using AI to digitize India’s water and sewer infrastructure. Our team member, Dr. Moumita Mukherjee, recently delivered a guest lecture at SSN College of Engineering as part of their series featuring industry experts. Her session on "Automated Defect Detection & Classification of Water Pipeline Inspection Videos with AI" showcased how our Swasth AI platform integrates with Endobot robots, highlighting the industrial applications of our cutting-edge technologies. The students' curiosity led to engaging discussions, and we are delighted to have sparked meaningful insights among future engineers! Our driving force is the positive social impact we create. The issue of manual scavenging is something that deeply moves us, and we know that technology alone won’t be enough to solve it. It takes a collective effort from the entire ecosystem to completely eliminate this practice. Many organisations have worked with manual scavengers to make a real difference by providing the necessary support for a sustainable livelihood. One initiative we're particularly proud to be part of is empowering sanitary workers with #Homosep, giving them the training and support they need, thanks to the dedicated efforts of our NGO partners and generous corporate funders. We’re especially excited about the interest of the HCL Foundation in solving this critical problem and understanding the underlying problem of #manual #scavenging in the field.
