We Chetana - Seva Sahayog worked in the disability sector for the past six years. Prismatic Softwares Private Limited, Sambprasad Kuvalekar created a unique method for documenting children's history, treatment sessions and the objectives that the therapist used the different activities to help them achieve. Imagine asking Sachin Tendulkar to practice for a century without a cricket kit. This is the reality for many students in socio-economically weak areas who lack basic stationery to practice their lessons. For the past 14 years, Seva Sahayog has been bridging this gap, providing essential supplies to ensure every child has the tools they need for a full academic year. Seva Sahayog Foundation is set to launch the Social Leadership Development Program (SLD) for 2024. Last year, 17 college students were assigned to ten different NGOs in and around Mumbai as part of the SLD initiative. The main objective was to nurture Social Leadership skills through hands-on experience. At the program's conclusion, the students were recognized for their efforts. This year, SSF aims to enroll 30 students, confident that program participants will discover their IKIGAI and continue making a positive impact on people's lives in the future.
