About us

seafund is a SEBI registered Category 2 Alternate Investment Fund (AIF) and invests in start-ups and early stage companies. The Partners and Mentor network build on our expertise in Information Technology, Mobile, Internet of Things and Machine Language to invest in industries across Fintech, Enterprise SaaS, Semiconductor tech, Space tech and Health care. We look for ideas and business models that can be scaled up rapidly using technology as an enabler. We invest in industries, domains and technologies where we understand the business, the business model, the competitive environment and can add value through our participation. We have a dedicated focus on the pre-Series A investment stage and our ecosystem of best of breed Legal, Accounting, IP Consulting and Mobile Development firms enables us to do faster due diligence, decision making and deal closure, a simple term sheet and quick feedback on investment decisions to help scale our investee companies. The core of the fund is a team of operators who have lived and breathed building businesses. We roll up our sleeves and get down in the trenches with the founders and are the first port of call whenever they run into a roadblock - anything that needs to be done to keep the lights on, we are your guys. Our mission is, to help the next set of technical founders, with small amounts of early capital in getting to market to build efficient and scalable businesses. These offerings are bolstered by our access to the 50,000 INSEAD alumni network. Two of our Partners are TiE Charter Members.
