Meet Krishna Patil. He's one of our consultants, working with Plum's users to enhance their coverage. He's also the cat in Jahnavi's latest comic. A year ago, Krishna's team would spend long calls with potential customers filling out forms, often struggling with poorly designed portals and processes. Here's how he leveraged Jahnavi's UX research to provide a great consulting experience (and do his job better) 👇 🔴 Eliminating repetitive tasks: While a lot of Krishna's time went into fairly repetitive tasks, he spent the most time following up — not the best use of anyone's time, especially if you're speaking to 60 folks every day. This resulted in automating WhatsApp comms with Periskope, making life easier for everyone on the team. ✨ Improving the customer's experience: To generate a policy, the customer had to fill out multiple forms (many tos and fros breaking trust), and quotes were shared over screenshots or Excel sheets (looked unprofessional, like a 'college project'). The former was fixed when customers received a consent form with all details laid out transparently, and the latter involved building a clean master deck covering all aspects like maternity, OPD, and more. 🔧 Collaborating with product: Quote generation was still a pain, because multiple quotes were generated at multiple touchpoints. It helps that we're an insurtech, because Sharvan and Dhairya were able to build a quote generation tool in under a week, giving users a unique, product-led approach. If you'd like to work with Krishna to build the 0-1 journey of one of our newest initiatives, we're hiring: https://lnkd.in/ddWwDXtY

Traditional health insurance often treats families as a unit, with one primary account holder. But modern families are diverse, with varying needs and dynamics. It's time for healthcare access to reflect this reality. And that's why we introduced (in)Dependent Login a few months ago. (in)Dependent Login recognises that each family member is an individual with unique health needs, privacy concerns, and schedules. Some benefits: 👍 Convenience - No more playing help-desk for your family 🔐 Privacy - Independent access for sensitive health needs (e.g., mental health consultations) 😊 Autonomy - Personalised Plum experience for each family member As we move towards a more connected, digital healthcare ecosystem, features like (in)Dependent Login will become essential. The future of healthcare is not just about advanced treatments. It's also about creating systems that respect individual autonomy, privacy and autonomy. Saurabh's goes in detail about the process of building this: https://lnkd.in/gtJfVsWM
