It's filled with some heartwarming stories and amazing achievements. In a snapshot:  -81% of our 12th-grade students passed their PUC exams, with 8 shining bright and scoring over 80%!  -16 school have gotten libraries with new books, making a world of difference in our students' learning journeys.  -572 children had a magical movie outing, experiencing the joy and wonder of cinema and new adventures. We are thrilled to share some wonderful news! Thanks to the incredible team at Deutsche Bank, 30 high-performing students from Parinaam's Academic Adoption Program have received new laptops! This support will empower our students, providing them with the essential tools to excel in their studies and achieve their dreams. With these laptops, they can access online learning resources, develop digital skills, and stay connected with their teachers and peers. Mallika Ghosh, Executive Director at Parinaam Foundation, moderated a panel on "Status of Financial Health in Karnataka: A Deeper Dive in Low-Income Households" during the Karnataka State FI Conclave on June 7th. Highlights from the panel included: -Banking Options for Low-Income Households: The panel discussed the impact of increasing banking options and the importance of guiding customers to manage their financial needs wisely without being overwhelmed or exploited. -Importance of Insurance Products: Emphasis was placed on robust insurance products for families, ensuring they can fully avail the benefits. Credit Access Life was highlighted as a valuable resource. -Agriculture and Water Scarcity: Concerns about water scarcity and reliance on monsoon rains were raised, discussing potential impacts on households and measures to safeguard against these challenges. -Women and Household Finances: The evolving role of women in managing household finances, especially with the shift to digital financial interactions, was addressed, highlighting the impact on household dynamics and women's empowerment. The discussion again brought to the forefront the unique challenges faced by urban ultra-poor households and the critical role women play in financial management. Parinaam remains dedicated to empowering these women with the tools and knowledge to secure their families' futures. Our 13th Annual Summer Camp was a success because of you! 🌟 From starting with 60 children, we welcomed over 1800 this year, thanks to the incredible support from our community. Your contributions—through generous donations, spending time with the children, conducting activities, or making in-kind donations—allowed parents to go to work knowing their children were safe and engaged. Plus, the kids received nutritious meals and stayed out of trouble. You have always been a pillar of support for Parinaam, and we are deeply grateful for your continued generosity. Dear Friends of Parinaam, There are people we never refer to by name — the maid, the driver, the cook, the tailor, the security guy. All of them have names. But unfortunately, their names go unknown and often, they go unseen. We are thrilled to announce the launch of Nameless Unseen- an attempt by Parinaam Foundation to give them names, give them identities and try to make them "seen".
