An article on Changing visa policies make post-study work permits a key factor for international students’ has been published in The Financial Express. The article discusses how changing visa policies and the availability of post-study work permits are influencing international students' decisions on where to study. Countries like Ireland, Finland, New Zealand, and Germany are becoming attractive to Indian students due to their flexible and favorable post-study work options, enabling graduates to gain valuable work experience and, in some cases, transition to long-term residency. These policies make such destinations appealing for students prioritizing career prospects after education. Aritra Ghosal

Mahatma Gandhi's time studying law in London shaped not just his career, but his worldview. Immersed in Western culture, yet deeply rooted in Indian heritage, he cultivated empathy, tolerance, and authenticity—qualities that laid the foundation for his philosophy of nonviolence and social justice. At OneStep Global, we believe international education has the same transformative power—it broadens perspectives, builds character, and fosters future leaders. "I do not want my house to be walled in on all sides and my windows to be stuffed. I want the cultures of all the lands to be blown about my house as freely as possible." - Mahatma Gandhi #gandhijayanti #onestepglobal #internationaleducation #global #learning #law #justice #india #london

Recently, the corporate world was faced with the devastating news of an employee who tragically lost their life due to immense stress and an overwhelming workload in Pune. What struck me most was the fact that not even a single colleague was able to attend the funeral. It made me pause and reflect deeply on the work culture we are fostering. As HR professionals, it’s our responsibility to advocate for our employees' well-being. This incident is a stark reminder that no job, no deadline, and no project is worth sacrificing one’s health or peace of mind. A relaxed and supportive working environment is not a luxury; it is a necessity. We must recognize that high performance is not synonymous with constant pressure. A supportive, relaxed work environment is not a luxury—it’s a necessity. No project deadline, no goal is more important than the mental and physical well-being of our teams. We need to create spaces where our people feel heard, supported, and cared for—where burnout is the exception, not the rule. At the end of the day, we are human beings first, not just employees. Let this be a call for us all to reevaluate how we manage workloads, how we address stress, and how we care for the people we work with. Work is important, but it should never come at the cost of someone's life or well-being. At OneStep Global, we are dedicated to creating a culture that places well-being at the forefront, promotes open conversations around stress, and ensures that every employee feels genuinely supported. It's vital to build environments where people can excel without the risk of burnout. Let’s respect each other’s limits, create spaces for breaks, and empower everyone to say when enough is enough. Together, we can build workplaces where success and well-being go hand in hand.
