About us

Dr. Verges Kurien once said, "India needs to show an honest face, a kind face, a human face.." At NDDB Dairy Services (NDS), this face is the hardworking face of our dairy farmers. We come to work each day to make dairying an important source of income for them and bring long lasting smile to their face. How do we do this? • By bringing dairy farmers together to form their own enterprise as a Producer Company • By reaching out to dairy farmers located in the agrarian- distressed, flood prone, drought prone or aspirational districts in India • By establishing direct milk procurement facilities for milk, thus eliminating the middle man • By ensuring the dairy farmers have complete control on procurement • By providing twice-a-day, round-the-year market access to the milk produced by the dairy farmers • By improving the productivity of milch animals by providing dairy farmers access to AI using high-genetic merit germplasm, animal nutrition and various other improved animal management practices • By providing complete digital access to dairy farmers through a mobile app that holds information about their transaction with the MPCs, such as milk pouring, payment, shareholding and deductions for input services, if any.

Today, INDUJAA MAHILA MILK PRODUCER COMPANY LIMITED celebrates a significant milestone since its inception in 2018. With support from DHANI and technical assistance from NDDB Dairy Services, Indujaa continues to make a profound impact in the agriculturally challenged Yavatmal district of Maharashtra. Indujaa with the support of National Dairy Development Board has taken a step forward by addressing the problem of fodder scarcity in the region, by helping establish Yashashvi Fodder and Agri Producer Company which envisages to mass-produce green fodder, dry fodder, and silage.  The fodder FPO has paved its way to achieve success by ensuring a consistent, high-quality fodder supply in the region that will boost milk yield, overcoming a major hurdle in sustainable dairy farming by providing steady income and economic stability to farmers. Here’s wishing for Indujaa to empower many more women dairy farmers by creating a sustainable impact through dairying. #dairy #farmers #NDDBDairyServices #aazadikaamritmahotsav #aatmanirbharbharat #amritkaal

Today, on International Cooperatives Day, we celebrate the extraordinary contributions of dairy cooperatives in India. Join us in honoring the relentless effort, resilience, and dedication of our dairy farmers who are the backbone of our nation's nourishment. The cooperative like structures have provided a platform for small and marginal dairy farmers to unite, effectively tackle common challenges, and establish a seamless value chain. This has resulted in establishing successful Milk Producer Organisations which empower rural communities by enabling timely milk collection, transparent payment mechanisms, and robust forward linkages leading to sustainable livelihoods. #CooperativesDay #DairyCooperatives #India #RuralEmpowerment
