The response from aspiring female coders has been overwhelming, with participation from students at 2500 colleges and over 29,500 student registrations. An impressive 4,200 teams submitted their presentations, and 1,200 have been shortlisted for phase 2. As part of our larger umbrella initiative called ShEcommerce, dedicated to building a thriving ecosystem for women talent in India, this program is a testament to the rise of confident women pursuing careers in tech. "The Phoenix Program has been a breakthrough for me, helping me fly back to work after a three-year career break. I had taken time off to care for my dad’s health and my young daughter. Returning to work after such a break was challenging, and I worried about managing day-to-day routines. However, I did what I had to do at that time, hoping things would be different for me—and the Phoenix Program has proven that right! Fortunately, by the time I was ready to return, Myntra had launched its Phoenix Program. Designed specifically for women on career breaks, the program ensures step-by-step involvement in the role with the help of mentors and supportive managers, maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Myntra facilitated a smooth transition for me, gradually increasing my roles and responsibilities. The hybrid model, with three days of work from home, allowed me to slowly transition back to the office while keeping a check on my five-year-old. The program was aptly planned, making it easier for me to adapt. My seniors and colleagues were incredibly helpful, providing quick refreshers and brushing up on the necessary knowledge for my work. They were very supportive and understanding, not putting too much pressure on me as a working mother returning to the professional world. The HR team offered regular feedback and provided training to help me update my skills. The highlight was my conversion to a full-time position. Myntra recognized my skills and gave me a sense of empowerment. Even though I had taken a break, Myntra made me more confident and groomed me well professionally. Myntra was a dream company for me, so this achievement was a proud moment for me and my entire family, especially after my career break."
