Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Forging and Casting Parts Cost Estimator/Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cost estimation for forging and casting parts, coupled with a strong background in design. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities:  Utilize expertise in forging and casting processes to accurately estimate associated costs  Analyze drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to determine material and Process requirements.  Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.  Conduct thorough cost analysis, including material costs, tooling costs, and overhead expenses.  Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals.  Initiate RFQ , settle commercials and prepare Sourcing strategies.  Continuously assess and improve cost estimation methodologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.  Provide technical support to the sales team during negotiations.  Assist in the design process by leveraging CAD software to create and modify part designs as needed. Requirements:  Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Automotive Engineering  3-8 years in cost estimation for forging and casting parts within a manufacturing environment.  Strong understanding of forging and casting processes, including material selection, tooling requirements, and production parameters.  Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for part design and modification.  Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.  Effective communication and collaboration abilities.  Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
