On June 25th, in collaboration with the District Administration of Kolhapur, Maharashtra Institution for Transformation (MITRA) organized the inaugural 'Sustainable Development Conclave'. This conference featured five-panel discussions representing key growth sectors identified through the BCG Matrix and District Strategic Plan. The event culminated in the unveiling of the Kolhapur Declaration, outlining a comprehensive developmental agenda aimed at fostering sustainable growth and economic resilience in the district. Aligned with the Economic Advisory Council's vision, this initiative aims to significantly contribute to Maharashtra's goal of achieving a $1 trillion economy by 2028, with Kolhapur targeting its GDP to reach Rs. 3 trillion by the same year, boasting a CAGR of 18.1%.
