The Logistics Sector Skill Council organized Apprenticeship awareness workshops 🛠️ at Lemon Tree Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh on the 24th of July 2024. Over 20 representatives from major establishments and TPAs participated in the workshop. The workshop commenced with a warm welcome speech by Ms. Ankur Raju, Head of Apprenticeship, LSC 🌟 who eloquently highlighted the significance and advantages of Apprenticeship training and NAPS in bridging the skill gap within the logistics sector, as well as the benefits that establishments stand to gain. To add a touch of grandeur, Ms. R. Eshwari, Deputy Director of RDSDE, MSDE, MP 🎤 delivered a captivating keynote address on Apprenticeship. Lastly, participants engaged in an interactive session addressed by Ms. Ankur Raju, Ms. R. Eshwari, and Mr. A. Murali Krishnan, Executive Apprenticeship, LSC 💬. Exciting News from the Logistics Sector Skill Council! 🎉📦 Running an industrial project-based degree program across borders and different cultures is not easy. Running it across languages is even more difficult. But the Project Competency methodology of SGIT-Steinbeis Global Institute Tubingen, founded in 1860 in Germany, has been extremely successful. 🌐📚 We are proud to bring this methodology to India for the first time in the logistics sector, in association with Steinbeis University. This is a 2-year Master's degree program with a fully accredited German degree where students spend one year in India and one year in Germany. This is a unique opportunity wherein students can work on project-linked initiatives in India for the first year and continue their studies in Germany for the second year. This approach shall help the gradual adaptation of the students to the industry requirements and German integration. At the same time, it will reduce expenses by more than 50%. 🎓✈️ The successful launch was graced by Shri Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO, NSDC; Mr. Ravikanth Yamarthy, CEO, LSC; Prof. Dr. Bertram Lohnuller, Steinbeis University, Germany; and 8 implementation partners from 8 different states of India. We look ahead to 600 admissions by the winter semester of 2024.
