At Linde, our CSR efforts are committed to protecting the environment and making a positive impact in the communities where we work and operate. On July 5, 2024, Linde volunteers partnered with Nature Mates, a Kolkata-based NGO, known for their work on environmental issues. Linde volunteers and the NGO partner gathered at the Bakkhali Sea Beach, West Bengal, for a beach clean-up drive. This event was aligned with UN Sustainability Development Goal no 14, "Life Below Water", aiming to protect marine resources, and conserve and sustainably use water bodies. We successfully collected 151kg of waste from the beach. In addition to the drive, Nature Mates also arranged for an awareness session for our volunteers, on the damaging effects of littering and advocating for cleaner and litter-free beaches.
