Our heartfelt thanks to Rolls-Royce and Tamil Nadu Technology Hub (iTNT), for organizing and recognizing the “Break The Loop” Innovation Challenge. This incredible initiative aimed at addressing the escalating threat of heatwaves and their societal and environmental impacts through sustainable solutions.
From over 30 applications, 10 innovative ideas were shortlisted, and we were privileged to receive intensive hands-on training in Business Model Canvas, Art of Storytelling & Pitch Deck Preparation, Market Analysis & Commercialization, and Technical Mentoring from the experts at Rolls-Royce Data Labs. The journey culminated in a thrilling Pitch Day at iTNT Hub.

iTNT Day 2024 Highlights - Rolls-Royce Innovation Challenge!
The grand success of the “Break The Loop” Innovation Challenge was celebrated by recognizing the winners at the iTNT Day celebration. The challenge floated in June 2024, targeting the escalating threat of heatwaves and their societal and environmental impacts, was jointly organized by iTNT Hub and Rolls-Royce. This initiative that sought sustainable solutions to predict and mitigate heat waves using locally suitable technologies and approaches attracted over 30 applications from startups and researchers working in the cleantech and sustainability sectors from across the State.
10 innovative ideas were shortlisted by an expert committee from Rolls-Royce Data Labs, Deep Tech ecosystem experts and iTNT Hub. These startups and innovators were provided intensive hands-on training in Business Model Canvas, Art of Storytelling & Pitch Deck Preparation, Market Analysis & Commercialization, and Technical Mentoring Sessions by experts from Rolls-Royce Data Labs. They pitched their innovative solutions in the Pitch Day at iTNT Hub. The following emerged as winners of the grand challenge:
