Job Description: Level 3 (L3) Support Engineer - Django
We are seeking an experienced Level 3 (L3) Support Engineer with a strong background in Django to join our dynamic support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring the resilience and performance of our customers' services.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Level 3 technical support for the services, built on Django, including diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
Perform in-depth analysis and debugging of issues reported by Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.
Collaborate with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software and system issues.
Monitor system performance, perform proactive maintenance, and implement performance optimizations.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles.
Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support coverage.
Assist in the design and implementation of disaster recovery and backup solutions.
Ensure security best practices are followed and assist in security audits and compliance efforts.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to Django and cloud services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support or a similar role, with at least 2 years of experience supporting applications built on Django.
Strong proficiency in Django, including understanding of Django architecture, ORM, and best practices.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure, or Google Cloud) and related services.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
Solid understanding of Linux/Unix and/or Windows operating systems.
Experience with monitoring tools and log management solutions (e.g., ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus.
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Certifications:
Django Certification from recognized training institutions or online platforms.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
