Since the inception of the CSR mandate in 2014, organisations have moved beyond meeting compliance standards and continued to prioritise real #impact. The sector has seen a whopping 29,000 crores in funding in FY2022-23 alone — a three-fold increase in 9 years. The number of companies spending more than their prescribed amount has been steadily increasing, with about 56% of companies having spent more than their mandated amount over the last financial year. #PSUs constitute 20% of total CSR spend, however, their share in annual #CSR has been declining over the last 2 years.
