Underneath all of the thought leadership & hot (read: lukewarm) takes, the heart and soul of LinkedIn really lies in the networking. The exposure to people who do similar things at wildly different companies — or wildly different things at similar companies — and everyone in between. If you show up ready to learn and listen, you're going to meet people who can teach you SO MUCH. For me, one of those people is Gabriel Gomez (who falls into my "similar-ish roles, wildly different companies" category).
