Modern Energy Cooking Forum 2024, 3rd edition of Modern Energy Cooking Forum 2024 was organized by MECS programme through its In-Country Partner Finovista. Forum provided for the In-Depth discussion related to Clean Cooking Opportunities and Challenges in India. The Forum was supported by the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, Manthan O/o PSA, International Solar Alliance (ISA), and Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL). The forum aims to leverage investment in renewable energies, particularly electricity access, to make a green shift towards a cleaner environment and was also successful in bringing together public and private sector stakeholders to promote dialogue and exchange ideas on renewable and clean energy for clean cooking. Prof Matthew Leach, Ajay Mathur, Vimal Kumar, Milind Deore, Archana Chauhan and Abhishek Gupta in inaugural session emphasized on the need of transition toward clean cooking. Forum witnessed the discussion on: Roadmap for a Successful Carbon Project in India Enabling eCooking through States Women in Modern Energy Cooking (WMEC) Access Vs Adoption - Role of Supply Chain Role of DISCOMs in large scale scaling up of eCooking Speakers, Dignitaries, Exhibitors assert their commitment toward the transition to clean energy cooking through discussion, product exhibition, research findings presentations.
