Europ Assistance India

  Europ Assistance India recently celebrated our 3rd consecutive annual Family Day. The only condition to participate at this event is that the families bring their best homemade food to share with everyone. In our Mumbai office, we have Hindus, Jains, Muslims, and Christians, among others. Indians from 15 states across the country. And, of course, we have Vegetarians and Non-Vegetarians.  This year, we had 70 families and 160 participants our employees at the event.   One can’t easily imagine or describe how incredible the feast is that is served. All food lovingly home-made by each family in the morning and proudly brought to the office to be shared by all for lunch. Nothing can beat the taste of Ghar ka Kana. And this is Ghar ka Kana at scale.   In addition to the amazing food, what is special about the event is to see the pride on the faces of teammates in bringing their families into our office, to show them around, and to introduce them to colleagues.   No wonder this is, hand on heart, our favorite event of the year.    To all the Mothers & Fathers, Husbands & Wives, Brothers & Sisters, and Children, a heartfelt thanks for being part of the Europ Assistance Family. ❤️❤️❤️ Meera Bhanushali, Ranjeet Vaswani, Deepak Luthra, Gaurav Panday, Shirish R. This morning, I was completely overcome with emotion when my parents received a surprise from Europ Assistance India ! I can't thank them enough! The moment my mother received the parcel, she was utterly taken aback, bursting with joy and tears streaming down her face! It's not just about the gift itself, but the heartfelt recognition behind it that truly touched us all.

St. Jude India ChildCare Centres (https://stjudechild.org/) is a non-profit organization providing food and long stay shelter for needy children and their parents while being treated for cancer in major cities across India. It took Europ Assistance India employees only one visit to the #Mumbai Childcare Center to appreciate the power and positive influence of this organisation and its incredible impact on affected children and families. ❤️❤️ HEARTFELT THANKS to our Partners (Tow Truck Owner / Operators) and local employees in Chennai / Tamil Nadu for their tireless service during last month's Chennai Floods. ❤️❤️ The floods were hard-hitting! They were really tough on our end customers - many of whom suffered significant / total damage to their vehicles, and equally tough on our clients. Just as importantly, they wreaked havoc on our local employees - one of whom had his house underwater. The family survived for 3 days with the generosity of the Indian Air Force air-drop of bread and butter on their rooftop.   There were many heroes who helped serve our end customers during this period of crisis...but the ones that stood out were our local Partners (Tow Truck Operators). We were overwhelmed with a 1,500% increase in call and case volume from stranded customers. Without the tireless and selfless (24/7) work of our Partners, it would have been impossible for us to clear up the backlog to service our customers.  For this we are forever grateful.  To acknowledge their efforts, the EA India team went to Chennai to meet and personally thank our Partners for their dedication and commitment to serve customers at their moment of greatest need. It was also an opportunity to spend time with our TN based team to recognise their efforts during the crisis. THANKING YOU ALL WITH GRATITUDE!!
