We offer fresh insights into how it will reshape our interactions, spanning from shopping and socializing to artistic expression. 🥽 The study, based on in-depth interviews and online surveys, highlights the challenges and opportunities in the evolving XR landscape with current and future XR users. Here are a few key takeaways from the report: 🔹 The number of consumers combining smartphones and augmented reality (AR) devices is set to double in the next five years. 🔹 Developments in augmented reality (AR) technology will lead to a more diverse range of AR expereinces, placing greater demands on 5G networks. 🔹 Consumers are eager to take AR devices outside of home and are willing to pay a premium of 20 percent for the portability. We believe that collaboration across the XR industry and various sectors is crucial to driving innovation in device design, diversification of use cases, and the establishment of robust connectivity infrastructure.
