As early as 2012, Ensinger developed highly conductive materials for the production of bipolar plates in cooperation with the Zentrum für BrennstoffzellenTechnik (ZBT) (Center for Fuel Cell Technology) in Duisburg. Today, Ensinger produces graphite bipolar plates for stationary systems and mobile fuel cells in maritime or heavy-duty applications.
