These fellowships aim to support students working on AI projects and foster advanced skills and innovation in the AI field. Here’s everything you need to know about it: Fellowships support B.Tech & M.Tech students from the top 50 engineering universities, as ranked by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). A 5-day training programme on ‘Managing Large Digital Transformative Projects’ is being conducted by NeGD in collaboration with MeitY and @iimvizag from July 22-26, 2024. ✅ The Programme was attended by 25 participants from Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Punjab, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, Kolkata, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal at Indian Institute of Management, Visakhapatnam. ✅ The aim of this programme is to nurture the essential competencies and skills of officers, guiding them from the conceptualization phase through to the successful implementation of digital transformation projects. ✅ The emphasis is being given on the pivotal role that digital projects play in modern governance and the necessity of effective management for their success. ✅ It was stated that digital transformation is not merely about adopting new technologies but involves a strategic approach to managing these projects to achieve meaningful outcomes.   ✅ Under the #CapacityBuildingScheme, the prog is designed to spread awareness on #DigitalTransformation & #capacitybuilding of Govt Depts to take steps towards securing a resilient e-infra. #DigitalIndia

The 2-day training programme is being conducted by NeGD, MeitY in collaboration with National Institute for Smart Governance (NISG) at the Institute of Management, Public Administration, and Rural Development from July 23-24, 2024. ✅ The programme was inaugurated by Shri Akash Tripathi, P & CEO, NeGD & Shri Srinath Chakravarthy, Senior VP, NISG ✅ The programme saw participation of 32 participants from Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, J&K, Ladakh, Rajasthan & UP ✅ In the inaugural session, Shri Tripathi emphasised on the importance and criticality of procurement rules and effective contract management in the government. He further emphasized on the efforts being made under Capacity Building Phase III of Digital India to support the Government in adopting new technologies and ensuring readiness for the upcoming challenges. ✅ This is the first regional programme of the series planned to be conducted across the country.   ✅ Under the #CapacityBuildingScheme, the prog is designed to spread awareness on #contracts & #procurement #capacitybuilding of Govt Depts to take steps towards securing a resilient e-infra. #DigitalIndia
