Government National R&D Laboratory at CSIR- National Environmental Engineering Research Institute
Twenty-one students from NMC's Vivekanand Nagar Hindi High School and forty-three students from Sanjuba High School, Nagpur, explored the R&D activities, interacted with scientists, and visited laboratories and plantation sites to observe practical demonstrations. The 3-day executive training program for customs officials was conducted by CSIR-CLRI from 21st to 23rd August 2024. The program focused on the "Identification and Examination of Leather and Leather Articles/Products and Procedures during Import and Export." 18 customs officials were participated and shared their experiences, during the feedback session, they stated that all the sessions were very useful for identifying leather and non-leather goods items for customs duty clearance.
