Happy to have been part of the CDRI delegation at the 5th Asia Pacific Science Technology Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (APSTCDRR) at IIT Roorkee, focusing on role of science, tech & innovation in augmenting #EWS, #infrastructureresilience, #entrepreneurship and local governance. A solid lineup of thought leaders, experts and practitioners, insightful discussions and quite some takeaways. The massive teamwork by all the organizers evident in the delivery. Co-chairing a DRR innovation pitch session featuring a few #CDRIFellows in the region and graduate scholars from higher education institutions made it extra special. Also the experience of being on campus of one of the oldest engineering institutions (est. 1847) in India. Thankful as always for the opportunity to share and learn!

Very happy to have represented the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure at the Australia - India Smart Energy & Zero Carbon Roundtable! Many thanks, Scott Hamilton! The discussions were particularly relevant and timely, given the increasing role of hydrogen in the global energy transition. During the roundtable, I highlighted the critical importance of integrating disaster resilience into hydrogen infrastructure development - which was also the main message of CDRI's paper on hydrogen infrastructure resilience released 2 years ago! #resilientinfrastructure
