🚀 Introducing AMEX: A Breakthrough Dataset for Mobile GUI Agents 📱 We are excited to share an innovative research paper titled "AMEX: Android Multi-annotation Expo Dataset for Mobile GUI Agents." This paper introduces AMEX, a comprehensive, large-scale dataset designed to revolutionize the capabilities of AI agents in mobile environments. Why is This Paper Useful? ➡️ AMEX addresses the limitations of existing datasets by providing a multi-level annotated dataset that enables AI agents to perform complex tasks on mobile GUIs. This dataset enhances the training and evaluation of generalist mobile GUI-control agents, allowing them to interact with and understand mobile interfaces more effectively. Key Insights: ➡️ Comprehensive Annotations: AMEX includes over 104K high-resolution screenshots from 110 popular mobile applications, annotated at three levels: GUI interactive element grounding, screen and element functionality descriptions, and complex natural language instructions. ➡️ Complex Task Handling: The dataset features around 3,000 unique instructions with an average of 13 steps each, significantly more detailed than existing datasets. This complexity allows for more robust training of AI agents to handle real-world tasks. ➡️ Baseline Model: The paper introduces the SPHINX Agent, a state-of-the-art model trained on AMEX, which sets a new benchmark for performance in mobile GUI control tasks. ➡️ High-Quality Annotations: All annotations are manually verified for accuracy, ensuring the reliability and usability of the dataset.
