This Monday I had the pleasure of speaking at ReactNext Conference 2024 about the future of JS Frameworks. Predicting the future isn’t easy, but as developers looking to move the world forward, it’s very important that we constantly try to. And by the way, sometimes it works: James Callan’s 1998 book taught me about microservices years before that concept even existed. That book predicted the future of software quite accurately—it’s all a matter of looking at trends and using logic and imagination to try and figure out what’s next. That’s what I tried to do at the conf, talking about micro-frontends, dynamic tree shaking, gradual rendering, locality of behavior, websites vs. web apps, my security-focused Jay Framework, design-to-code solutions and more. I also talked about how due to so many web concerns these days, like performance, security, GDPR, accessibility and more, building and managing websites yourself makes no sense. שבוע שעבר לקחתי חלק בכנס ReactNext Conference למפתחי פרונטאנד שכותבים ב-React, אבל לא רק. זה היה הכנס הראשון שלקחתי בו חלק בכובע של המפתח (ולא מעצב) והגעתי עם הרבה חששות - האם אבין את כל התכנים? האם יהיה לי מה לקחת בחזרה לסטודיו, להעביר לקולוגות שלי ולעבודה השוטפת שלנו? האם יהיו שם דברים שיגעו בנושאים שמעניינים אותי באופן אישי (Creative development וכד')? , האם יהיה לי תכנים חדשים להעביר לסטודנטים שמלמד? הופתעתי לגלות שהתשובות לכל השאלות שלי היה כן ועוד הרבה יותר. הכנס הכיל בתוכו מגוון גדול של הרצאות ומרצים מכל מיני תחומים שנגעו בספקטרום רחב של נושאים - מדיונים רעיוניים וטכניים על JS ecosystem ומה יכול להיות העתיד שלה Gil Tayar, דרך פרקטיקות ישימות על איך למדוד ולשפר ביצועים ב-web Ofir Elarat ועד כלים ליצירת SVG אינטרקאטיבי בקוד Liri Sokol רציתי גם לומר תודה מיוחדת ל-Ariel Shulman שלא רק גרמה לי להבין מה זה בדיוק Conquering אלה גם להתעניין בזה ולהבין למה זה רלוונטי לי באמצעות הצגה ומצגת מעולה, Netta B. על הפשטה והנגשה של נושא שיכול להיות pain לא קטן בעבודה - אנימציה,  ול-Kevin Maes על Genetic Algortihrms, מה קורה שטבע פוגש קוד ולכל הידע שחלק. לסיכום, יותר מזה שנהניתי גילית כמה עוד יש לי ללמוד, כמה אני רוצה עו ללמוד וזה שכל הידע נמצא שם בחוץ, ואני חושב שברמה מקצועית וגם אישית זה אחד הערכים החשובים שאפשר לצאת איתם מכנס מקצועי. תודה רבה ל-EventHandler ולכל מי שלקח חלק בזה. עד הכנס הבא. אני בינתיים הולך לתזמן מחדש רנדור של קומפוננטות ברשותכם.

🌟 עדיין מתרגש מהכנס אתמול 🌟 עדיין מנסה לעכל שעמדתי על הבמה ב ReactNext Conference, מול מאות אנשים, ולצד המרצים הגדולים, ודיברתי על איך React Query עובדת מתחת למכסה המנוע, עם סשן לייב קודינג של ספרייה כזו בעצמנו 🧙♂️✨ היו הרצאות מעולות, מחכה שיעלו כבר ליוטיוב ואוכל לשתף אותן פה 🤗 תודה ל EventHandler על האירוח וההזדמנות 💖 ניפגש בפעם הבאה על הבמה ✌️ #ReactNext24

סיכום יומיים מטורפים של ReactNext Conference Node.TLV הדבר שהכי נהניתי זה לחבק הרבה אנשים שקוראים עכשיו את הפוסט הזה, ולקבל חיבוק מהרבה אנשים שהיו כאן בשבילי בשנים האחרונות . ההרצאות היו מטורפות, למדתי הרבה אבל אני כל כך Overwhelmed כדי לדבר עליהן. הרבה שאלו אותי אתמול והיום איך להגיע למעמד של להרצות בכנס כזה. כמו תמיד צריך שני דברים: להיות תותח, ושידעו שאתה תותח. כל כך פשוט וכל כך קשה בו זמנית. תאמינו לי שהכל אפשרי, אנחנו צריכים לעשות את המקסימום בשביל זה. ממחר מתחילים לעבוד אפילו יותר קשה. תשאלו אותי למה?

🌟 Still excited from ReactNext! 🌟 Yesterday, I had the incredible privilege of speaking about "The Superpower of ASTs" at ReactNext Conference. My anticipation for this conference was through the roof! I was absolutely thrilled to share the stage where I've seen many brilliant minds speak before. Representing monday.com at one of Israel's top conferences was a humbling and unforgettable experience. It was so inspiring to meet and exchange impressions with people I’ve long admired. Huge thanks to everyone involved and to all the wonderful people I met! ReactNext 2024: A Celebration of Innovation and Community! Just wrapped up an incredible experience at ReactNext 2024 in Tel Aviv which I attended with my friend Yanai Edri! This year's conference was great and expiring as always :), bringing together hundreds of passionate frontend developers. The lineup of speakers was truly top-notch, featuring industry leaders and rising stars who shared their insights on the latest trends and advancements in the React ecosystem (and not only). From in-depth discussions about performance optimization to exciting explorations of emerging technologies, there was something for everyone. Here are just a few of the highlights that resonated with me: - A Deep Dive into Fine-Grained Reactivity and the future of Signals with Eliran Eliassy - Towards a simpler JavaScript ecosystem with Gil Tayar - Playwright Component Tests with Matan Borenkraout - Animate All the Things! (With View Transitions API) with Neta Bondy - and much much more... The energy at the conference was electric! It was fantastic to connect with fellow Web enthusiasts, share ideas, and learn from each other's experiences. And let's not forget the excellent food that kept us all fueled throughout the event! A big shoutout to the ReactNext organizers for putting together such a phenomenal event !!
