Last Thursday, our marketers met at Wix campus for the 6th session of the PMM Mastery program. Inbar Yagur, Co-Founder and CEO of Radical B2B Tech Marketing, and Assaf Nisenboym, Head of Marketing for Developers at Wix.com, shared great insights and perspectives on content marketing. Inbar Yagur shared her thought-provoking perspective: "Nobody cares about your product. Everybody is lazy, tired, and selfish." While it may sound disheartening at first, this statement allows us as PMMs to approach our work with a focus on overcoming apathy, giving value first and answering the crucial question: "What's in it for the user?" We must captivate our audience with a compelling story that connects with their emotions – because #storytelling is a powerful tool. We also had the pleasure of hearing from Assaf Nisenboym, who shared his expertise on the art of storytelling. He highlighted the importance of considering who tells the story, how to tell it, when, and where to tell it, whether through ads, social media, or in-person interactions. The session ended with a fun product challenge assignment. Our marketers were tasked with applying the framework discussed in class to write their brand's story. An American Fund Raised $160 Million to Invest in Israeli Startups Flint Capital, a Boston-based firm, closed a VC fund totalling $160 million. The raised fund will help early-stage Israeli and European startups in cybersecurity, fintech, digital health, enterprise SaaS, and B2C entering the American market. The new fund will invest in 25 companies with Israeli founders, Israeli pre-seed VC funds, and European startups. Flint Capital has three unicorns in its portfolio, one of them is the Israeli one - WalkMe. It has also invested in Israeli companies CyberX (acquired by Microsoft) and Voca.ai (acquired by Snap). “Israeli entrepreneurs are some of the most resilient people in the world.
