QD-SOL is an innovator at the cutting-edge of green hydrogen technology. Our unique process generates hydrogen from water using sunlight directly.
Our ground-breaking approach is based on revolutionary research conducted by QD-SOL co-founder and CSO Prof. Lilac Amirav at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Israel. The demonstrated record-breaking photon-to-hydrogen efficiency of her new nanoparticle photocatalysts has set the foundation for our green hydrogen revolution.
Now, we’re working to realize this vision by taking this technology out of the lab and into the industry. Our green hydrogen solution will address the climate, sustainability, and cost challenges that established hydrogen production face today – challenges that will become even more pressing in the future.
QD-SOL hydrogen solutions will include technology for both hydrogen production farms and on-site hydrogen production at any scale. Our new technology will provide hydrogen for established industrial applications and open the door to completely new opportunities.
