We are pleased to share the 2023 Phoenix Sustainability Report, which highlights our ongoing efforts in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. This year, we've taken steps to enhance our approach: ▪       Introduced an ESG index in our compensation model for officers and executives ▪       Measured our investment portfolio's carbon footprint using the PCAF methodology ▪        Submitted our report for external audit by KPMG Some notable outcomes from 2023 include: ▪        10% reduction in direct carbon footprint (2019-2023) ▪        32 carbon intensity of assets (tons of CO2 equivalent per NISm invested); first in the industry to measure Scope 3 ▪        10 billion NIS in environmental impact investments to date ▪        Women make up 31% of our senior management team ▪        Active stewardship - 52 proxy voting on ESG issues We are grateful to have received the Ma'ala Platinum Plus rating, which we view as encouragement to continue our sustainability journey Full report in Hebrew: https://lnkd.in/dY-zEstq Full report in English: https://lnkd.in/dgKQEhib

On World Environment Day, Phoenix Holdings reaffirms its commitment to environmental sustainability through #impactful initiatives: #Carbon Offsetting - We offset approximately 700 tons of CO2 emissions from employee flights by supporting innovative projects like afforestation, planting over 479 trees across Israel. Regenerative #Agriculture - Promoting #sustainable farming practices, we enabled conservation tillage across 1,400 acres, helping sequester an estimated 2,800 tons of CO2 over 5 years. Food Waste Reduction - Our program engaged 880 classrooms in 47 Bedouin schools to separate and repurpose 2.5 tons of food waste daily as animal feed. Renewable Energy - We facilitated installing 110 kW of solar panels on residential buildings, driving the adoption of clean energy solutions.
