Last week, Verne introduced a redefined approach to urban #autonomous mobility in cities, driven by Mobileye. Johann Jungwirth, EVP, Autonomous Vehicles at Mobileye shares about the collaboration: “Verne’s innovative new vehicle platform and ecosystem reflect the potential autonomous mobility has to change our expectations of personal transportation. Only with a system like Mobileye Drive™, that’s built for scalability, would something like this be possible, and we’re proud to work with Verne on this program.” Photos: Verne

Our VP of Radar, Yaniv Avital, recently spoke at the IWPC Conference, Automotive Radar and ADAS Evolution for 2030 and Beyond, about Mobileye’s imaging radar and its superior detection capabilities. For example, our imaging radar can reliably detect hazards on the road, even near a guard rail, enabling safe driving on the highway at 130 km/h. We believe that our imaging radar's short-range performance can replace the need for short-range lidar, serving as a key enabler for making consumer autonomous driving affordable.
